Choose Lemlist if you want the simplest way to add LinkedIn to cold email, with lemwarm and a 650M+ lead database included. Choose Reply.io if you need a broader sales engagement suite with calls, multiple LinkedIn accounts per user and an optional AI SDR agent, and you can budget for its add-ons. Both tools score 4.1/5 overall in Inranked’s research, so the right pick depends on how you sell rather than which product is “better.”
Both tools have the same Inranked score: the right choice depends on your use case.

| Verdict | Lemlist is one of the most complete email-plus-LinkedIn outreach platforms, with strong deliverability tools and a large lead database. LinkedIn-first teams may find per-seat pricing and extension-based LinkedIn automation limiting. | Reply.io is a mature email-first sales engagement platform with LinkedIn, calls, data and the Jason AI SDR agent in one place. It is powerful, but per-account add-ons make full multichannel use expensive. |

Lemlist and Reply.io are the two closest email-first platforms we cover. Both start from cold email and layer LinkedIn, calls and data on top. The real differences are in pricing structure, how LinkedIn is billed and connected, and how much of the sales workflow you want inside one tool. Lemlist vs Reply.io at a glance
- LinkedIn pricing: Lemlist includes LinkedIn in its Multichannel plan ($87/mo yearly), while Reply.io charges $69 per LinkedIn account per month on top of any plan.
- LinkedIn accounts: Lemlist allows one LinkedIn account per seat; Reply.io lets you connect several accounts and spread campaigns across them, each as a paid add-on.
- Sales Navigator: Reply.io supports InMail steps and Sales Navigator search import; Lemlist only imports leads from Sales Navigator (up to 2,500) through its Chrome extension.
- Data: Lemlist includes a 650M+ lead database with credit-based enrichment; Reply.io says its data covers 1 billion+ contacts, with 50 live data credits per month included.
- AI: Reply.io sells Jason AI, a full AI SDR agent from $500/month; Lemlist bundles lemAgent and AI agents for campaign building into its plans.
- Safety: Both rate Medium, but Reply.io scores slightly higher (3.8 vs 3.6) thanks to documented per-action limits and manual steps.
Features compared
Lemlist and Reply.io both earn a 4.6/5 features score from Inranked. The gap is in focus, not depth.
Multichannel sequences: tie, with different strengths
Both tools let you mix email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS in one sequence and branch on what a prospect does. In Lemlist, a lead who accepts a LinkedIn invitation can get a different follow-up than one who opens an email. Reply.io adds a Zapier step for channels it does not support natively, and treats WhatsApp as semi-automation.
Lemlist is the better fit if you want calls, SMS and LinkedIn bundled in one plan. Reply.io wins if you want a wider sequence builder and are happy to pay for the dialer ($29 per account) separately.
LinkedIn automation and Sales Navigator: Reply.io wins
Reply.io lists nine automatic LinkedIn step types, including connection requests, messages, InMail, profile views, post likes, endorsements, follows and voice messages. InMail and LinkedIn search import need Sales Navigator, with imports capped at 2,000 results per account per day.
Lemlist covers the core actions (visits, invitations, messages and follows) through its Chrome extension, which also imports up to 999 leads per LinkedIn import and up to 2,500 from Sales Navigator. Its account connection supports personal profiles, so it is not a full Sales Navigator automation tool. For LinkedIn depth, Reply.io is ahead.
Email and deliverability: close, slight edge to Lemlist
Email is the core channel for both. Lemlist includes lemwarm, which exchanges real emails with real inboxes to build sender reputation, plus a deliverability hub on every plan. G2 users rate its deliverability management among its highest-scoring capabilities.
Reply.io is just as mature on paper: free peer-to-peer warm-up for every mailbox, random sending delays, up to 100 mailboxes per sequence and an automatic pause when bounce rates cross a threshold. It also sells pre-warmed domains and mailboxes. Lemlist edges it for teams that want deliverability tooling included without extra purchases.
Lead data and AI: depends on your budget
Lemlist’s 650M+ lead database comes with an email and phone finder that draws on 25+ data providers. Enrichment runs on credits, and heavy users will need the $20/month add-on (2,000 credits) or more. Reply.io says its data covers more than 1 billion contacts with intent signals, but only 50 live data credits per month are included.
On AI, Reply.io goes further. Jason AI can prospect, write emails and LinkedIn messages, answer replies and book meetings, with an approval mode for review. It starts at $500/month billed annually, though. Lemlist’s AI agents help build campaigns and write messages inside the plan you already pay for. Choose Reply.io for an AI SDR, Lemlist for AI assistance at no extra cost.
CRM integrations: tie
Both offer two-way sync with HubSpot and Salesforce, plus Pipedrive, Zapier, Make and n8n. Lemlist adds Attio and Zoho CRM; Reply.io adds Copper, ActiveCampaign and Calendly, plus an API, webhooks and an MCP server. Lemlist also includes an API on every plan. Neither has a clear edge here.
Pricing compared
| Plan tier | Lemlist | Reply.io |
|---|---|---|
| Email plan | $55/mo billed yearly ($69 monthly) | Email Volume from $49/user/mo billed annually ($59 monthly) for 1,000 active contacts |
| Multichannel plan | $87/mo billed yearly ($109 monthly), LinkedIn included | $89/user/mo billed annually ($99 monthly) |
| LinkedIn automation | Included in Multichannel (one account per seat) | $69 per LinkedIn account/month add-on |
| Calls and SMS | Included in Multichannel | $29 per account/month add-on |
| AI agent | AI agents included in plans | Jason AI SDR from $500/mo billed annually ($800 monthly) |
| Free trial | 14 days, no credit card | 14 days |
The headline prices look similar, but the real cost of LinkedIn outreach is not. One Lemlist Multichannel seat costs $109 per month on monthly billing, with LinkedIn, calls and SMS included. The equivalent Reply.io setup is $99 + $69 + $29 = $197 per month. Lemlist also discounts quarterly (10%) and yearly (20%) billing. Its main extra costs are enrichment credits ($20/month for 2,000) and buying intent signals ($29/month).
Reply.io becomes better value in two cases: when you need several LinkedIn accounts per user, since Lemlist forces you to buy a seat per profile, or when you run an agency on the Agency Core plan ($210/month with unlimited clients, users and mailboxes, plus $69 per LinkedIn account). Both score 3.9/5 for value. Prices checked in October 2026; confirm on each vendor’s pricing page.
LinkedIn account safety compared
No automation tool is risk-free, because LinkedIn’s User Agreement does not allow third-party software that automates activity on the site. Both tools rate Medium for safety, with Reply.io slightly ahead at 3.8/5 against Lemlist’s 3.6/5.
Lemlist runs LinkedIn actions through a browser session created by its Chrome extension, not a dedicated cloud IP. It offers daily caps for invitations, visits, follows and messages, plus an invitation ramp-up. Its help center recommends around 20 invites, 30 visits and 30 messages per day and notes an observed ceiling of roughly 100 invitations per rolling week. The ramp-up covers only invitations, so other actions need to be lowered manually on new accounts.
Reply.io defaults to 30 actions per type per day, with a hard maximum of 100, and recommends 25–35 per action type (35–50 for messages). Every step can be switched to manual, and the docs warn to run each account from one device and location. However, its public docs do not mention dedicated IPs or residential proxies, one connection method uses a session cookie via the Findy Chrome extension, and we found no documented warm-up for new profiles. Whichever you choose, keep limits at the low end.
Ease of use and setup
Lemlist is the easier tool, scoring 4.1/5 for ease of use against Reply.io’s 3.9/5. Its pricing has two main plans, and LinkedIn setup is a single flow: log into Lemlist and LinkedIn in the same Chrome profile and connect through the extension.
Reply.io has more moving parts. It sells per-user sequence plans, a separately billed AI SDR product and agency plans, and LinkedIn and calls are add-ons you configure per account. That flexibility is useful for larger sales teams, but it makes the first setup and the first bill harder to predict. Both offer a 14-day trial, which is enough time to build one real sequence in each.
Who should choose Lemlist?
- Email-first sales teams adding LinkedIn as a second channel
- Teams that want LinkedIn, calls and SMS in one predictable per-seat price
- Agencies that care most about deliverability and built-in warm-up
- Users who want a large lead database inside the outreach tool
Who should choose Reply.io?
- Sales teams that need InMail and Sales Navigator search import
- Users running several LinkedIn accounts from one seat
- Companies ready to test an AI SDR agent with an approval step
- Agencies managing many client mailboxes under one flat plan

Final verdict
Lemlist and Reply.io tie at 4.1/5, and both are strong email-first platforms. Lemlist is the better default for most teams: LinkedIn, calls and SMS come in one Multichannel seat, lemwarm is included, and the setup is simpler. Its limits are one LinkedIn account per seat, an extension-based LinkedIn connection and paid enrichment credits.
Reply.io is the better choice for larger sales teams that want deeper LinkedIn steps, Sales Navigator support, several accounts per user or an AI SDR agent. Just add up the $69 LinkedIn and $29 dialer add-ons before you commit. Start with the Lemlist or Reply.io trial and run the same sequence in both.
