Skylead is a cloud-based sales engagement tool that combines LinkedIn automation and cold email in one sequence builder, aimed at sales teams, founders, recruiters and agencies that want to reach the same prospect on both channels. Its main differentiator is “smart sequences”: if/else logic that sends a lead down a LinkedIn or email path depending on what they do, or what data Skylead can find about them.
Our short verdict: Skylead is one of the more complete options among multichannel outreach tools for LinkedIn-first teams. The All-in-one plan bundles email discovery, unlimited email accounts and LinkedIn automation for one flat per-seat price. The trade-off is that the price is per seat, with no cheaper starter tier, and LinkedIn automation always carries account risk.
What is Skylead?
Skylead is a web app that runs LinkedIn and email outreach from the cloud, so campaigns keep running when your computer is off. You connect a LinkedIn account (Basic, Premium, Sales Navigator or Recruiter, according to Skylead’s help center) and any number of email inboxes, then build a sequence that mixes both channels.
Skylead says it has more than 10,000 users in 93 countries and offers support in 7 languages. Recent additions listed on its site include a B2B database, account-based prospecting, Post signals (finding leads by the topics they post about), AI data enrichment and an AI SDR that can handle replies.
Skylead states on its website that it is not affiliated with LinkedIn. That matters for the safety section below.
Key features
Smart sequences with LinkedIn and email conditions
Smart sequences are Skylead’s core feature. You drag actions and conditions onto a canvas, and each condition splits the flow into a “yes” and a “no” branch. According to Skylead’s help center, the available actions are view profile, follow, invite to connect, LinkedIn message, InMail, email message and find & verify business email.
The documented conditions include:
- If connected – did the lead accept your connection request?
- If email verified – did the email discovery step find a valid address?
- If email opened and if email link clicked – engagement checks for the email channel.
- If InMail free – can the lead receive a free InMail (open profile)?
- If email imported – for leads uploaded via CSV or API.
- Custom condition – up to five outputs for more complex branching.
A typical flow: send a connection request; if the lead does not accept within a few days, find their business email and switch to cold email; if they accept, continue on LinkedIn. Skylead says there is no limit on the number of steps, and every step can be delayed by a set number of hours or days. Ready-made templates are available if you do not want to build from scratch.
Email discovery and verification
Skylead includes an email finder and verifier as a sequence step, so you do not need a separate tool to get a prospect’s work address. Skylead says it can find business emails even for leads you are not connected with on LinkedIn, and it verifies each address to reduce bounces.
Coverage will vary by market and job role; independent reviewers note that not every profile returns an email. The “if email verified” condition handles this by keeping unmatched leads on the LinkedIn path.
Unlimited email accounts and warm-up
According to Skylead’s pricing page, the All-in-one plan includes unlimited email accounts, up to 100,000 emails per month, unlimited email automation and unlimited email warm-up. Skylead says it works with all email providers. Spreading volume across several inboxes and domains is a standard way to protect deliverability, and not having to pay per inbox makes that easier to scale.
Spintax and Liquid syntax are supported for varying copy, which also helps avoid identical messages landing in spam filters.
Image and GIF personalization
Skylead lets you add personalized images and GIFs (for example, with the lead’s name or profile photo) to LinkedIn messages and emails. The pricing page lists this as unlimited on the All-in-one plan. Skylead cites this as a way to stand out in crowded inboxes, and you do not need a separate image personalization tool.
Smart inbox, analytics and integrations
The smart inbox puts LinkedIn messages and email replies in one place, with saved reply templates and lead labels. Analytics show results per step, support A/B tests and export to CSV or PDF. Blacklists can exclude leads by profile URL, name, company or job title across all team seats.
For CRM sync, Skylead lists native integrations with HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce, plus Zapier, Make, webhooks and an API. Some older Capterra reviews asked for tighter CRM integration, so check the current native options against your workflow during the trial.
Prospecting and AI add-ons
Beyond outreach, Skylead now offers a B2B database, account-based prospecting and Post signals inside the All-in-one plan. AI data enrichment (lead and company context plus icebreakers) and the AI SDR are sold as add-ons, so budget for them separately if you need them.
Skylead pricing
Skylead uses per-seat pricing. One seat equals one LinkedIn account plus unlimited email accounts. There is no free plan, but a 7-day free trial is available.
| Plan | Price | Best for | Key limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| All-in-one | $100 per seat/month | Individual sellers, founders and small teams | 1 LinkedIn account per seat; 100,000 emails/month; AI enrichment and AI SDR are paid add-ons |
| Annual | Custom (pay 10 months, get 2 free) | Teams with a stable seat count | Annual commitment; includes white-label option; price via sales |
| Agency | $999/month for 25 seats or $1,999/month for unlimited seats (first-year promotion) | Lead generation agencies managing multiple clients | Post-promotion pricing not published; custom email volume |
The Agency plan adds an agency dashboard, a unified inbox for client conversations, client roles and permissions, unlimited co-workers, a dedicated Slack channel and white-label options. Remember that Sales Navigator, if you use it, is billed separately by LinkedIn.

Is Skylead safe for your LinkedIn account?
No LinkedIn automation tool is risk-free. LinkedIn’s User Agreement does not allow third-party software that automates activity on the platform, so any tool that sends connection requests or messages for you can lead to warnings or restrictions.
Skylead reduces risk in a few documented ways. It runs in the cloud rather than as a browser extension, and when you connect a LinkedIn account you choose the country you normally log in from, so activity routes through a proxy in that location. Skylead’s help center tells users who also log in manually to use the same proxy, keeping the IP address consistent. The pricing page also lists LinkedIn warm-up among its features.
What Skylead does not publish is a clear statement of default daily limits or whether each account gets a dedicated IP. Some third-party reviews say it does, but we could not confirm this in Skylead’s own documentation. In practice, safety depends heavily on your settings: keep connection requests and messages at conservative daily volumes, ramp up new or inactive accounts slowly, and avoid running activity around the clock.
We rate Skylead’s safety as Medium: better than extension-based tools that act inside your browser session, but still reliant on the user to keep volumes sensible.
Who should use Skylead?
Good fit
- Sales teams and founders who want LinkedIn and cold email in one sequence instead of two separate tools.
- Prospectors targeting decision-makers who may ignore connection requests but answer email.
- Teams that need many sending inboxes without paying per mailbox.
- Agencies running outreach for several clients that need white-label and client permissions.
Not a good fit
- Solo users on a tight budget who only need basic LinkedIn connection campaigns.
- Teams that want a free plan to test outreach before paying.
- Email-only teams that do not use LinkedIn as a channel.
- Anyone unwilling to accept any LinkedIn account risk from automation.
Skylead alternatives
If Skylead does not fit, these tools from our LinkedIn tools leaderboard cover similar ground:
- Lemlist – an email-first platform with LinkedIn steps added. A better choice if cold email is your main channel and you want built-in deliverability tooling around it.
- Reply.io – a broader sales engagement suite with email, LinkedIn, calls and AI features. Suited to larger SDR teams that need more channels and reporting.
- Expandi – a cloud-based LinkedIn automation tool with email steps. Worth comparing if your priority is LinkedIn-centric campaigns rather than an all-in-one prospecting stack.
How we evaluated Skylead
This review is research-based. We reviewed Skylead’s official website, pricing page and help center documentation, plus public user reviews on G2 and Capterra and recent independent articles. Inranked has not yet run hands-on tests of Skylead. Scores are provisional and weighted as follows: features 30%, value 25%, account safety 25% and ease of use 20%. Final verdict
Skylead is a strong pick for teams that want LinkedIn and email working together rather than side by side. Smart sequences with conditions such as “if connected” and “if email verified” let you reach leads on whichever channel responds, and the All-in-one plan includes email discovery and unlimited email accounts without extra per-inbox fees. Users on G2 rate it 4.5 out of 5 across more than 120 reviews, and Capterra reviewers frequently praise the support team.
The main drawbacks are the $100 per-seat entry price, AI features sold as add-ons, and limited public detail on default LinkedIn safety limits. If those are acceptable, use the 7-day trial to build one real multichannel sequence and check email-finding coverage in your market before committing. You can start the trial from the official Skylead website.
