What we like

  • Email, LinkedIn, calls, SMS in one
  • Strong deliverability and free warm-up
  • Built-in B2B contact data
  • Jason AI SDR with approval mode
  • Wide CRM integrations and API

What to consider

  • LinkedIn automation costs $69 per account
  • Jason AI starts at $500/month
  • Little public detail on LinkedIn IPs

Reply.io is a sales engagement platform for B2B sales teams, agencies and founders who want to run email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS from one sequence builder, with a built-in contact database and an AI SDR agent called Jason AI. It suits teams that see LinkedIn as one channel among several rather than the only one.

Our short verdict: Reply.io is one of the more complete multichannel tools in this category, and its email side is especially strong. The trade-off is cost. LinkedIn automation and the dialer are paid add-ons per account, so a full multichannel setup costs a lot more than the headline price.

What is Reply.io?

Reply.io is a cloud-based outreach platform built around multistep “sequences.” A sequence can combine automated emails, LinkedIn actions, call tasks, SMS and WhatsApp steps, plus a Zapier step for other channels. The company says it has been operating for more than 10 years and describes itself as trusted by 3,000+ businesses.

The product now has three layers: classic sequences for sales reps, a B2B data layer that Reply.io says covers over 1 billion contacts, and Jason AI, an AI SDR agent that can prospect, write, reply and book meetings with less human input. Reply.io also sells agency plans with unlimited clients and mailboxes.

If you are comparing broader multichannel options, see our list of the best multichannel outreach tools.

Key features

Multichannel sequences

The sequence builder is Reply.io’s core feature. You can mix email steps, automatic or manual LinkedIn steps, call tasks and SMS, and add conditions that branch on what a prospect does. According to the pricing page, WhatsApp is supported as “semi-automation,” which means it is not fully hands-off like email. A Zapier step lets you push contacts into channels Reply.io does not support natively.

Calls and SMS run through Reply.io’s built-in dialer. It is a paid add-on listed at $29 per account per month.

LinkedIn automation

Reply.io’s help docs list nine automatic LinkedIn step types: connection request, message, InMail, profile view, like recent posts, endorse skills, follow profile, voice message and AI voice message. Connection requests and messages work with any LinkedIn account. InMail steps need Sales Navigator and available InMail credits.

You can connect several LinkedIn accounts and spread campaigns across them. You can also import contacts from LinkedIn searches. Reply.io’s limits reference caps this at 2,000 results per account per day, and search import requires Sales Navigator. LinkedIn automation costs $69 per LinkedIn account per month on top of your plan.

Email outreach and deliverability

Email is where Reply.io is most mature. The Multichannel plan includes unlimited emails and an anti-spam suite. Free peer-to-peer mailbox warm-up comes with every connected mailbox. The documented sending controls include random delays between emails (20 seconds to 24 hours), up to 100 mailboxes per sequence, and an automatic pause on a sequence’s first step when its bounce rate crosses a daily threshold.

Reply.io also sells new and pre-warmed domains and mailboxes as add-ons, plus email validation. That is useful for teams that want to scale cold email without managing infrastructure elsewhere.

Jason AI SDR agent

Jason AI is still offered as of October 2026, and Reply.io now sells it as a separate product. According to its product page, Jason finds prospects from a plain-language ideal customer description and intent signals. It writes personalized emails and LinkedIn messages, adds call tasks with scripts, and answers replies using a knowledge base you provide. It books meetings by checking Google Calendar in real time.

You can run it in automatic mode or approval mode, where you review each message before it is sent. Approval mode is the safer starting point. The AI writes in your name, and both your domain reputation and your LinkedIn account are at stake.

B2B data and Chrome extension

Reply.io says its contact data covers more than 1 billion global contacts with intent signals, and the pricing page says the data is powered by Generect. Each plan includes 50 live data credits per month, and larger credit packs are add-ons. The Findy Chrome extension finds emails from LinkedIn profiles and is one of the ways to connect a LinkedIn account to Reply.io.

Integrations and API

Reply.io lists native integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Copper, ActiveCampaign and Calendly. It also connects to Gmail and Microsoft Exchange mailboxes and to Zapier, Make and n8n. Developers get an API, webhooks and an MCP server for AI coding and agent tools.

Reply.io pricing

Reply.io has three product lines: sequence plans billed per user, Jason AI billed as a flat monthly fee, and agency plans. Prices below are in USD.

Plan Price Best for Key limits
Email Volume From $49/user/mo billed annually ($59 monthly) for 1,000 active contacts; $899 annual / $999 monthly for 100,000 High-volume cold email Priced by active contacts; 50 live data credits/mo; LinkedIn ($69/account) and Calls & SMS ($29/account) extra
Multichannel $89/user/mo billed annually; $99 monthly Sales teams running email plus LinkedIn and calls Unlimited active contacts; mailbox allowance per user (page shows 5 or 10); extra mailboxes $29/mo; LinkedIn and dialer are add-ons
Jason AI SDR From $500/mo billed annually ($800 monthly) for 1,000 active contacts; Growth from $1,500/mo annual Teams that want an AI agent to run prospecting Flat fee, unlimited users; tiers by active contacts; Enterprise on request
Agency Core $210/mo Lead-gen agencies Unlimited clients, users and mailboxes; LinkedIn $69/account/mo
Agency AI SDR $500/mo per client Agencies selling AI SDR services Includes LinkedIn and email automation

The Multichannel plan has a 14-day free trial. Reply.io says the trial includes the B2B database, multichannel sequences, reports, API and AI features. The real cost depends on add-ons. One Multichannel seat with one LinkedIn account and the dialer comes to $99 + $69 + $29 = $197 per month at monthly billing.

Is Reply.io safe for your LinkedIn account?

No LinkedIn automation tool is fully safe. LinkedIn’s User Agreement does not allow third-party software that automates activity on the site, and accounts that use these tools can be restricted. Reply.io lowers the risk but cannot remove it.

On the plus side, Reply.io’s help docs recommend conservative daily ranges: 25–35 actions per action type, or 35–50 for messages. The default is 30 per action type, and the hard maximum is 100 per action type per day. Automatic steps pause when a limit is reached, and every step can be switched to manual. The docs also warn users to run each LinkedIn account from one device and location, because switching can interrupt automation.

What we could not verify is how sessions are hosted. Reply.io’s public docs do not mention dedicated IPs or residential proxies. One connection method uses a session cookie through the Findy Chrome extension, which ties the setup to your browser. We also found no documented account warm-up for new LinkedIn profiles. That is why we rate account safety as Medium: keep limits near the low end, warm up new accounts by hand, and avoid running the same profile in another automation tool.

Who should use Reply.io?

Good fit

  • Sales teams whose main channel is cold email and who want LinkedIn and calls in the same sequence
  • Teams that want contact data, email finding and sending in one tool
  • Agencies managing many client mailboxes under one flat plan
  • Companies that want to test an AI SDR agent with an approval step
  • Teams with a CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive that need two-way sync

Not a good fit

  • Solo users who only need LinkedIn automation on a small budget
  • Teams that want dedicated-IP cloud LinkedIn automation as the core product
  • Buyers who want simple, all-inclusive pricing without per-account add-ons
  • Small teams for whom Jason AI’s $500+ monthly entry price is too high

How we evaluated Reply.io

This review is research-based. We have not tested Reply.io hands-on yet. We reviewed Reply.io’s official website, pricing page and help documentation, plus public user reviews, and scored the tool on features (30%), value for money (25%), LinkedIn account safety (25%) and ease of use (20%). Scores are provisional and will be updated after hands-on testing. Read more about how we review LinkedIn tools.

Final verdict

Reply.io is a strong choice for sales teams that want one platform for email-led multichannel outreach, B2B data and, if the budget allows, an AI SDR agent. Its sequence builder, deliverability tooling and integrations are more complete than most LinkedIn-first tools.

Budget for the add-ons before you commit. LinkedIn automation is $69 per account and the dialer is $29 per account, and public detail on how LinkedIn sessions are hosted is thin. If LinkedIn is your main channel, a dedicated LinkedIn tool may be safer and cheaper. If email comes first, Reply.io is worth a trial. Start on the Reply.io website.

Reply.io FAQ

How much does Reply.io cost?

Reply.io's Email Volume plan starts at $49 per user per month billed annually ($59 monthly) for 1,000 active contacts, and the Multichannel plan costs $89 per user per month annually or $99 monthly. LinkedIn automation ($69 per account) and Calls & SMS ($29 per account) are add-ons, and Jason AI SDR starts at $500 per month billed annually.

Does Reply.io have a free plan or free trial?

Reply.io offers a 14-day free trial rather than a permanent free plan. According to Reply.io, the trial includes the B2B database, multichannel sequences, reports, API and AI features.

Is Reply.io safe for LinkedIn?

Reply.io reduces risk with daily limits per action type (default 30, maximum 100) and the option to make any step manual, but LinkedIn's User Agreement does not allow automation tools. Its public docs do not describe dedicated IPs, so keep volumes conservative and warm up new accounts manually.

Does Reply.io work with LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

Yes. Connection requests and messages work with any LinkedIn account, but InMail steps and LinkedIn search import require Sales Navigator, with imports capped at 2,000 results per account per day.

Is Reply.io worth it compared with alternatives?

Reply.io is worth it for teams whose outreach is led by cold email and who want LinkedIn, calls, data and an AI SDR in one platform. If LinkedIn is your main channel, LinkedIn-first tools such as Skylead or HeyReach are often simpler and cheaper.
