What we like

  • Dedicated country-based IP per account
  • Branching if/then Smart Sequences
  • Native HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive sync
  • White-label agency features
  • LinkedIn and email in one

What to consider

  • No free plan, 7-day trial only
  • $99 per seat is relatively expensive
  • Some reviewers report billing, support issues

Expandi is a cloud-based LinkedIn automation tool for sales teams, lead generation agencies and recruiters who run connection, message and email follow-up sequences at scale. It runs campaigns from Expandi’s servers rather than your browser, and it is built around conditional “Smart Sequences” that branch on what each prospect does.

Short verdict: Expandi is one of the more safety-focused and flexible LinkedIn outreach tools, with a dedicated country-based IP per account, automatic warm-up and native CRM syncs. The trade-off is price: there is no free plan, a single $99/month tier for individuals, and some Capterra reviewers report billing and support friction.

What is Expandi?

Expandi is a SaaS platform that automates LinkedIn prospecting: profile visits, connection requests, messages, InMail and follow-ups, combined with email steps in the same sequence. According to its homepage, it targets sales teams, agencies and recruiters, and it also offers image, GIF and video personalization through partner tools.

Because it is cloud-based, campaigns keep running when your laptop is closed. Expandi states on its site that it is not an official LinkedIn product and that use is at your own risk, which is true of every tool in this category.

Expandi works with both standard LinkedIn and Sales Navigator. You can build campaign audiences from Sales Navigator search URLs, and Expandi’s own guides recommend keeping search segments small and targeted. Sales Navigator is optional, not required.

On public review sites, Expandi holds 4.3 out of 5 from 166 reviews on G2 and 4.4 out of 5 from 31 reviews on Capterra at the time of writing. Users praise the campaign builder and sequencing, while complaints focus on pricing, billing and occasional stalled campaigns.

It sits in the same group as other best LinkedIn automation tools we cover, alongside Dripify, Waalaxy and HeyReach. If you want a ranked overview across categories, see our LinkedIn tools leaderboard.

Key features

Smart Sequences with if/then logic

Expandi’s sequence builder lets you branch a campaign based on prospect behavior, for example sending a different message if someone accepts your request but does not reply. The pricing page lists if/then actions, campaign prioritization, step-by-step statistics and A/B testing of messages.

Expandi’s homepage describes 11 campaign types and unlimited campaigns on the Business plan. This is more flexible than linear sequence tools, but it also takes longer to set up well.

LinkedIn plus email in one sequence

Expandi combines LinkedIn actions with email follow-ups, and its homepage says you can connect any email provider. It also lists an integration with Smartlead for teams that run larger cold email programs alongside LinkedIn.

Email is a follow-up channel here rather than a full email outreach platform. Teams that lead with email may prefer a dedicated multichannel tool such as Lemlist.

Account safety controls

Every account gets a dedicated, country-based IP address, according to Expandi’s pricing page. The platform also includes automatic profile warm-up and configurable daily limits that Expandi enforces, with weekly connection recommendations it says are based on internal research.

A “Mobile Connector” campaign type, per the pricing page, allows 100 extra connection requests per week beyond normal limits. Expandi markets up to 300+ connection requests weekly, but that is a ceiling, not a safe default for a new account.

Shared inbox and lead management

Replies land in a unified inbox with labels, tags and notes on conversations. Expandi also lists blacklists, unlimited templates, dynamic placeholders and duplicate prevention at both personal and company level, which helps teams avoid contacting the same lead twice.

Personalized images, GIFs and video

Expandi supports personalized images and GIFs (via Hyperise) and personalized video (via Sendspark). Both are paid add-ons on top of the subscription, according to the pricing page. Expandi claims personalized visuals can lift reply rates, but that is a vendor claim we have not verified.

Integrations, API and agency tools

Expandi’s integrations page lists native CRM integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, plus webhooks, API access and Zapier. In 2026 it also introduced Expandi MCP (beta), which lets assistants like Claude or ChatGPT build lead lists and draft campaigns, with the user approving actions before they launch.

For agencies, the custom plan adds roles and permissions, centralized campaign management, client-facing reports, template sharing and white-label use.

Expandi pricing

Expandi has a simple two-tier structure: one self-serve Business plan priced per seat, and a custom Agency plan for 10+ seats. There is no free plan, but there is a 7-day free trial with access to all features.

Plan Price Best for Key limits
Free trial $0 for 7 days Testing campaigns before paying Ends after 7 days; billing starts only if you subscribe
Business $99/month per seat, or $79/month billed annually Individuals and small sales teams Daily limits set by Expandi’s safety settings; image/GIF and video personalization cost extra
Agency (custom) Talk to sales Agencies and teams with 10+ seats Custom quote; volume discounts for more accounts

Prices checked in October 2026 on Expandi’s pricing page; confirm current offers before buying. See the official Expandi pricing page for taxes and current discounts.

At $99 per seat per month, Expandi sits at the higher end of single-seat LinkedIn tools. Annual billing brings it to $79 per month, which Expandi frames as two months free.

Is Expandi safe for your LinkedIn account?

No automation tool is fully safe, because LinkedIn’s User Agreement does not allow third-party software that automates activity on the platform. Accounts using any automation can be restricted, and Expandi itself says use is at your own risk.

That said, Expandi is designed to reduce risk more than most. It runs in the cloud, assigns each account a dedicated country-based IP, warms up new profiles automatically and enforces daily limits. Expandi also says a Sales Navigator subscription can help build account trust and widen safe limit ranges.

The main risk comes from how you use it. Pushing toward the advertised 300+ weekly requests, or adding Mobile Connector volume on a new or low-acceptance account, raises the chance of a restriction. Start with conservative limits and personalized messages, and keep your acceptance rate healthy.

Who should use Expandi?

Good fit

  • Sales teams that want branching LinkedIn and email sequences in one tool
  • Users who prioritize account safety features like dedicated IPs and warm-up
  • Teams using HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive who want native CRM sync
  • Agencies that need white-label reporting and multi-account management
  • Sales Navigator users who build lists from saved searches

Not a good fit

  • Beginners who want a free plan to start with
  • Budget-conscious solo users who only need simple connect-and-message flows
  • Teams whose main channel is cold email rather than LinkedIn
  • Anyone who wants to avoid LinkedIn automation risk entirely

Expandi alternatives

Waalaxy is the easier, cheaper starting point. It has a free plan and a simpler interface, which suits solo founders, but its sequences are less flexible than Expandi’s branching logic.

Dripify is another cloud-based LinkedIn tool with drip campaigns and team features at a lower entry price. It is a reasonable option if you want cloud automation without Expandi’s per-seat cost.

HeyReach is built for agencies and teams sending from many LinkedIn accounts at once. If your main need is rotating senders across many profiles under one subscription, compare it closely with Expandi’s agency plan.

How we evaluated Expandi

This review is research-based: we compared Expandi’s official website, pricing page, integrations page and help resources with public user reviews on G2 and Capterra, rather than running hands-on tests. Each tool is scored on features (30%), value (25%), account safety (25%) and ease of use (20%), and scores are provisional until testing. Read our full review methodology for details.

Final verdict

Expandi is a strong choice for sales teams and agencies that want flexible, conditional LinkedIn and email sequences with above-average safety controls. The dedicated IP per account, automatic warm-up, native CRM integrations and white-label agency features justify its place among the leading cloud tools.

The main drawbacks are cost and the lack of a free plan. At $99 per seat per month, solo users with simple needs will get better value elsewhere, and some public reviews mention billing and support issues. Use the 7-day trial to check whether the branching logic and safety features are worth the premium for your team.
