VerdictExpandi pairs flexible if/then LinkedIn and email sequences with strong safety controls like dedicated IPs and warm-up. It costs more than most rivals and has no free plan, so it suits teams more than casual solo users.Waalaxy is one of the simplest ways to automate LinkedIn invitations and follow-ups, and annual plans are cheap. Tight Pro quotas, costly monthly billing and Business-only cold email hold it back.

Features compared

Sequences and campaign logic

Winner: Expandi. Expandi’s Smart Sequences branch on what each prospect does, for example sending a different message if someone accepts but does not reply. The pricing page lists if/then actions, campaign prioritization, step-by-step statistics and message A/B testing, and Expandi describes 11 campaign types with unlimited campaigns. That flexibility takes longer to set up well.

Waalaxy’s sequences come from templates that combine visits, follows, invitations and messages with automated follow-ups. All paid plans include unlimited campaigns, but you cannot freely add or remove individual steps. It is fast, not flexible.

Prospect import and Sales Navigator

Winner: tie. Both work with standard LinkedIn and Sales Navigator, and neither requires it. Expandi builds campaigns from Sales Navigator search URLs and supports InMail; it also says a Sales Navigator account can help build account trust and widen limit ranges. Waalaxy imports from LinkedIn Basic, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite searches or CSV files, and its Alien Copilot extension pre-fills imports from search pages. Expandi has the edge for InMail; Waalaxy for Recruiter users.

Email outreach

Winner: Expandi. Expandi adds email follow-ups to LinkedIn sequences, connects to any email provider and integrates with Smartlead for larger cold email programs. Email is a follow-up channel rather than a full email platform, but it is part of the standard plan. On Waalaxy, cold email sequences and LinkedIn + email campaigns require Business, and the Email Finder gives 25 credits a month on Pro and Advanced, 500 on Business.

Inbox, CRM and agency tools

Winner: Expandi. Expandi includes a unified inbox with labels, tags and notes, blacklists, and duplicate prevention at personal and company level. It lists native HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive integrations, webhooks, API access and Zapier, and its custom Agency plan adds roles, client-facing reports and white-label use. Waalaxy’s LinkedIn Inbox is a paid add-on that third-party trackers list at €20 a month. It syncs with HubSpot and Pipedrive from Pro, with API, Make, Zapier and n8n from Advanced, and its team feature includes an anti-duplicate check across seats.

Personalization and AI

Winner: Expandi. Expandi supports personalized images and GIFs via Hyperise and video via Sendspark, both as paid add-ons. In 2026 it introduced Expandi MCP (beta), which lets assistants like Claude or ChatGPT build lead lists and draft campaigns, with the user approving before launch. Our Waalaxy research did not surface comparable features.

Pricing compared

Plan tier Expandi Waalaxy
Free trial 7 days, all features 14 days
Entry Business: $79/seat/mo annually ($99 monthly) Pro: €19/user/mo annually (about €39 monthly)
Mid No separate tier Advanced: €49/user/mo annually (about €99 monthly)
Top tier Agency: custom quote, 10+ seats Business: €69/user/mo annually (about €139 monthly)

Waalaxy is far cheaper on annual billing: its Pro plan costs a fraction of an Expandi seat. Note that Waalaxy prices are in euros excluding VAT and Expandi’s are in US dollars, so compare them at current exchange rates. The catch is monthly billing: third-party trackers put Waalaxy’s monthly prices at roughly double its annual ones, while Expandi’s annual discount is smaller.

Expandi’s value case rests on what one seat includes: branching sequences, email steps, a dedicated IP, warm-up and native CRM sync. Image, GIF and video personalization cost extra. Teams of five or more can ask Waalaxy for 10% to 30% volume discounts, while Expandi quotes volume pricing on its Agency plan. Prices checked in October 2026; confirm on each vendor’s pricing page.

LinkedIn account safety compared

Expandi has the stronger safety setup and scores 4.2 for safety versus Waalaxy’s 3.8. Neither is risk-free, because LinkedIn’s User Agreement does not allow third-party automation, and Expandi itself says use is at your own risk.

Expandi runs in the cloud, assigns every account a dedicated country-based IP, warms up new profiles automatically and enforces daily limits. Its main risk is how you use it: it markets up to 300+ connection requests weekly, and its Mobile Connector campaign type allows 100 extra requests per week, but those are ceilings, not safe defaults for new accounts.

Waalaxy, fully cloud-based since July 2026, uses randomized daily quotas, two to three minute delays between actions, LinkedIn’s weekly cap of about 200 invitations, and an automatic 48-hour pause when it detects heavy manual activity. Its conservative plan quotas help, but it does not publicly document dedicated IPs or proxy locations for its cloud engine, which is why we rate it Medium risk.

Ease of use and setup

Waalaxy is much easier, scoring 4.7 for ease of use against Expandi’s 4.1. You import prospects, choose a template and launch, and Waalaxy says 75% of its users had never done LinkedIn outreach before.

Expandi’s branching sequences, campaign types and safety settings give you more control but take longer to configure. Some reviewers also report billing and support friction. Expect a learning curve during the 7-day trial.

Support access differs too. Waalaxy’s pricing page ties support speed to the plan: replies within 48 hours on Pro, within 4 hours plus live chat on Advanced, and priority support on Business. Waalaxy’s team feature is also simple to grasp, with one seat per LinkedIn account and a manager able to work inside teammates’ accounts. Expandi’s team and agency controls go further, with roles, permissions and centralized campaign management on its custom plan, but they suit organizations that already have a defined outreach process.

Who should choose Expandi?

  • Sales teams that need branching LinkedIn and email sequences
  • Users who prioritize dedicated IPs and automatic warm-up
  • Teams on Salesforce, HubSpot or Pipedrive that want native sync
  • Agencies that need white-label reporting and multi-account management

Who should choose Waalaxy?

  • Beginners running LinkedIn outreach for the first time
  • Solo founders and freelancers on a tight budget who can pay annually
  • Users who only need simple connect-and-message flows
  • Small teams that want a longer, 14-day trial before committing
